DETAILS: In August 1965, at the age of sixteen, Robin Lee Graham sets out from San Pedro, California to sail around the world in his 24- foot sloop Dove. In 1970, after almost five years, he sails back into his home port to successfully complete the youngest solo circumnavigation. Robin Lee Graham's solo global voyage provides the inspiration for the 08/65 Boating Moccasin.

DETAILS: On March 22, 1969, Coach John Wooden and the UCLA Bruins win their fifth national championship in six years beating Purdue 92-72 in the finals of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball tournament. UCLA is led by the tournament's Most Outstanding Player, Lew Alcindor (later known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar), who scored 37 points and grabbed 20 rebounds. The 03/69 Court Shoe is a tribute to most dominant program in college basketball history and is inspired by the clean styling of court shoes of the late sixties era.
