Tips to Beautiful Windows

As with any windows in your home you will need to keep them clean, and whilst there are many ways in which to do this, perhaps some of the best ways are as follows. If you add to some water to the same amount of vinegar this will provide you with a solution that is very effective in keeping your windows clean and sparkling. Another method you might like to consider is just adding a little bit of shampoo to some water, as this will also clean any windows or glass that you have in your home. But perhaps the method that most people use is simply buying some window detergent, and the detergents that you can buy these days, often cover cleaning different surfaces as well as your windows. A handy little tip for giving your windows that extra sheen and shine, is to get hold of a piece of newspaper roll it up into a ball and then clean the glass with it, you will be amazed at the results.

You may also want to consider the type of colour you have on your walls that surround your windows, as this can also have an effect on how your windows appear in your living room. Having a bright and cheerful colour on your walls will only enhance the light that is coming through the windows; a darker colour of course will have a muted effect.

The type of window dressing you chose is also important if your want your windows to look their best. Blinds, ready made curtains or cheap Roman blinds are great space saving solutions which can be colour coordinated to match your décor.
